Roy G. D'Andrade received his Ph.D. in Social Anthropology from Social Relations, Harvard University, 1962. He is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the National Academy of Sciences. D'Andrade has recently come to the University of Connecticut from the University of California, San Diego. He is interested in cognitive anthropology, quantitative methods, general theory, and American culture.
