The UConn graduate program in Old World Archaeology is seeking quality grad students with an interest in the Pleistocene and early Holocene. Strong programs at UConn in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology, Molecular & Cell Biology, Geosciences, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) provide additional offerings that can be integrated into grad student training. |
We provide training in lithic technology, zooarchaeology, geoarchaeology, quantitative methods, and archaeobotany. Faculty research projects are active in Kenya, Israel, Syria, Turkey, and the Republic of Georgia. Financial support is forthcoming from the UConn Department of Anthropology and the UConn Graduate School for students with good undergraduate records. |
